Inside the Byard’s studio
Original paper designs and personal details are part of our everyday work. Here is where the Byard’s collection takes on a handwriting of its own.
Original wrapping paper
Our papers begin with original Byard’s artwork and are printed to order in Derbyshire. Choose a design for the person opening it, then the size and paper weight for the gift. Selected patterns can carry names, messages or photographs, too. Every order is supplied rolled, ready for you to make the first fold and finish it in your own way.
Personalised in our studio
A sourced glass jar can become the keeper of a family biscuit rule. A slate marker can name a much-loved herb bed. We add engraving and personal details to selected pieces in our Derbyshire studio, working with the wood, slate, glass or terracotta already there. Choose the object first, then use its available options to make it unmistakably theirs.

The personal touch
The best clue is usually what they love doing. Start there, choose something useful, then add the detail only you would think of.

This is the first time I have used this site and I found it easy to navigate with lots of lovely items to buy. It was all so easy to use and pay and the communications were very good without being too much. The delivery was quick and I will definitely be using then again. I cannot think of any improvements needed.
I just love this, it is so pretty! It's beautifully painted and the quality of the tin and painting is exceptional. It took me ages to decide which colour to order because they are all so gorgeous. I did think initially, that it was a bit pricey but having received it now, it is absolutely worth every penny! I actually bought mine to use as a little sewing box. Mine is made of wood and quite heavy. Most of the sewing I do uses the same few items so I thought this would be perfect to put them in and it is much lighter to carry around. It fits a surprising amount in actually and I am absolutely thrilled with it! It would also make a lovely gift for someone as a lunch box or sewing box. Highly recommend!

I ordered 2 sets and a pot in one set was broken. I emailed about it and the company apologised and sent a replacement pot the same day. I was really impressed with the service and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
