Description

Lift the lid to find five little clay-pot candles, scented with lavender and a subtle hint of vanilla. This candle gift set pairs hand-poured candles with a white stainless steel tin, decorated by hand with motifs inspired by traditional Kashmiri designs.

Each candle is handmade by members of the Dalit community in India and offers approximately three hours of burn time. Enjoy them individually over several evenings, or arrange them safely apart to bring candlelight to a dinner or celebration. The fragrance combines fresh lavender with a gentle touch of vanilla sweetness.

The painted tin is part of the gift’s lasting appeal. Once emptied and washed, it can hold biscuits, sewing supplies or small keepsakes, giving it a useful place in the home after the candles are finished.

A thoughtful choice for a birthday, housewarming or thank-you gift, with something to enjoy now and something to keep.

Why You’ll Love This

  • A gift with lasting use: the hand-painted container becomes a storage tin once the candles are finished.
  • Enjoy at your own pace: five separate candles let you light one whenever you choose.
  • A softly sweet floral fragrance: lavender is complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla.
  • Handmade detail throughout: hand-poured candles in petite clay pots accompany a container decorated by hand.

The Making Behind the Gift

The candles are handmade by members of the Dalit community in India. Their sale supports our supplier’s work providing education, shelter and care for street children and vulnerable groups.
