Description
Description
There is something very easy about a table laid with natural fibres. This set of four round typha placemats brings warmth and texture to everyday meals, giving plates and serving dishes a practical base without making the table feel formal.
Each placemat is handwoven from typha fibres, a natural plant material with a softly irregular weave and warm straw colouring. At approximately 30cm wide, they are a useful size for everyday place settings and help protect the table beneath from scratches, marks and heat from plates or serving dishes.
They work particularly well alongside linen napkins, stoneware, wooden serving boards and simple glassware. Use the full set for family dining or keep them nearby for easy table styling when friends come round.
