A clear space remains beneath the engraving for you to write each plant name by hand. One marker might become Rosemary, another Basil and another Thyme, while the engraved personalisation remains consistent across the entire set.

Each marker measures 14.5cm high, with a generous 6 × 4cm scalloped plaque. The pale, untreated basswood provides a natural surface for writing with pencil or a suitable fine-tip pen.

These markers are suitable for greenhouses, polytunnels, conservatories and indoor plant pots. As the basswood is untreated, they should be kept away from prolonged rain and continually saturated conditions.

Basswood has natural variations in colour and grain. Small differences in the depth and tone of the engraving are part of the finished product.

How the Personalisation Works

Choose either:

• Initials – displayed prominently at the top
• Name – engraved in a smaller format to fit the plaque

Enter the wording exactly as you would like it engraved. Please check the spelling, capital letters and punctuation carefully.

The larger space beneath your engraved personalisation is intentionally left blank. This is where you add the plant name yourself after receiving the marker.

Important Personalisation Information

The personalisation entered applies to every marker within the selected pack.

For example:

• Pack of 10 with “RH” — all 10 markers will be engraved RH
• Pack of 20 with “Rebecca Hillman” — all 20 will be engraved Rebecca Hillman
• Pack of 50 with “Grandad” — all 50 will be engraved Grandad

Mixed personalisations cannot be supplied within one pack.

If you require different personalisations, please order each pack separately. For example, to receive 10 markers engraved “RH” and 10 engraved “JB”:

1. Select a pack of 10 and enter “RH”.
2. Add it to your basket.
3. Return to the product page.
4. Select another pack of 10 and enter “JB”.

Writing on Your Plant Marker

Use a pencil or a fine-tip pen suitable for writing on untreated wood.

Because the basswood is untreated, ink can absorb into the surface and should be regarded as permanent. Pencil offers greater flexibility, although faint marks may remain after erasing.
