Terracotta naturally varies in colour, grain and surface texture. Small marks, firing variations and differences within the engraved area are normal characteristics of the clay and help give each finished pot its individual appearance.
Using Your Terracotta Pot
The drainage hole allows excess water to leave the pot. Always place it on a suitable saucer or protected surface when used indoors, as moisture may pass through natural unglazed terracotta.
Choose a plant suited to the pot size and position it somewhere with the appropriate light and temperature for that particular variety.
