Four small clay pots create four separate pools of candlelight. This handmade terracotta candle set can be grouped along a dining table or mantelpiece, then separated around the room whenever you want a softer spread of light.
The rounded Murgan shape is influenced by traditional terracotta water pots used in India. Each vessel is made by hand, giving the natural clay subtle differences in colour, texture and form.
Inside each pot is a scented beeswax blend combining lavender with a gentle hint of vanilla. Every candle provides approximately 20 hours of burn time, giving the complete box up to 80 individual candle-hours.
The Murgan candles are handmade in India by Dalit artisans. Their purchase helps support work with street children from Dalit communities, adding a meaningful making story to this practical boxed set.
