Our Crushed Whelk Shells – Mini Bag offer a natural, sustainable way to finish and enhance indoor planting. Carefully crushed, washed, and dried, these shells are supplied in a fully recyclable, hand-tied paper bag and contain approximately 1kg of shell material.

Sustainably sourced as a by-product from our family’s seafood processing business on the west coast of Wales, these shells help reduce waste within the UK fishing industry while giving new life to a natural material.

Ideal as a decorative top dressing, the shells add texture and contrast to indoor plant pots and terrariums. They are particularly well suited to cacti, succulents, and most houseplants, while also offering practical benefits when mixed into compost.
