Dragonflight Balance Light – Maple Rechargeable Lamp

A dragonfly, poised in light

With its wings outstretched and its slender tail lifted, the Dragonflight Balance Light brings a little movement to a quiet corner. Gingko Design has shaped pale maple wood into a sculptural dragonfly that rests on a simple cylindrical stand. Hidden LEDs beneath the wings cast a soft warm glow across the surface below.

It is a lovely piece for a sideboard, bedside table or desk: interesting to look at in daylight, and gentle company after dark. The natural grain gives each lamp its own character, while the clean wooden form sits easily alongside books, ceramics and other everyday favourites.

Light at a touch

Tap the discreet control on the dragonfly to switch the light on and adjust its brightness. The rechargeable battery keeps the display free from trailing cables once charged. Carefully balanced on its stand, the dragonfly can turn with a gentle nudge; it rests on the support rather than being fixed to it.

A thoughtful gift for someone drawn to nature, design or beautifully made wooden objects, with a place in the home long after the wrapping has gone.

Care and use

Place on a flat, stable surface and check the dragonfly is secure before letting go. The lamp and stand are separate: lift them individually when moving. Dust gently with a soft cloth; use a lightly damp cloth on the wood if needed, then dry. Keep away from water and protect from knocks and drops. For indoor decorative lighting.
